I have been enjoying my gratefulbody cleanser. It is doing great things for my skin and I have been trying to find the words to describe it. It's my favourite cleanser ever. It's very balancing. My skin tends to be a little dry and slightly patchy and now, after using the cleanser, it is uniformly moist and smooth and it also feels more elastic. My complexion is brighter and smoother and younger looking. Even though it's not a scrubbing kind of a cleanser it does seem to remove old dead cells and stimulate the new ones. Hello Folks, I just wanted to write and let you know how delighted I am with the new product I received the other day, "Aphrodite's Feast". It is so soft feeling and absorbs immediately. The fragrance is addictive too, being a bit like a mild licorice scent, I can't seem to get enough of it! I think the inclusion of fig is a most intuitive choice on your part since it seems to have so many almost illusive qualities that many people would never have even considered it. Yet the fig has so many nutritive offerings to add. I feel like my skin just drinks it all in and looks like it gets a healthy glow without being at all oily. The lines and wrinkles seem to be lessened and this is all before the addition of a moisterizer. All in all, I just love it and want to say "Thanks" for making such a wonderful product. After trying all of the medical community's "gentle" or "hypoallergenic" topical soaps, lotions and ointments which were full of chemicals, I began reading every ingredient in every product and referencing the EWG database. About 2 months ago I found your line and noted not one single chemical listed. The doctors had said to absolutely avoid all herbal products due to my sensitivities but I had been using their suggested clinical lines with no success. My herbalist convinced me that plants and herbs were not going to hurt me, so I bought your products. Reading the description on the bottles gave me a comfort I cannot describe, a hope. Hello, I just had to tell you this! I went to my dermatologist yesterday for a follow-up on my rosacea. The doctor had given me a cream which I did not want to use, but I tried it and it made my rosacea worse. Every winter, probably due to the dry, indoor heat, the skin on the inside part of my eyebrows becomes red, and starts flaking. This year, amazingly, it didn't happen. I definitely used the indoor heat, maybe even more than usual (we had some chilly, damp days), and my supplements remain unchanged. What I attribute it to is the Grateful Body skin products. I had started using them last spring, but hadn't yet gone through a winter with them. What was especially surprising was how soothing the facial cleanser felt when I put it on this area. With other products, I use to keep applying moisturizer, hoping it would calm the skin down, but it would still be red and flakey. I just wanted to say thank you for your wonderful products. About two years ago I started breaking out in severe hormonal acne, which after having taken accutane, was severely distressing.
